STRUCTURAL REPAIRS LAP JOINT AND COMPOSITES

ENAER is the perfect alternative to carry out all the inspections and repairs described in the Boeing Service Bulletins SB 737- 53A1177 and SB 737-53A1255, in addition to equivalent services for the Boeing 707. The annual inspection and application of the service bulletins can be addressed in a single instance, in order to repair, after 50,000 cycles, any cracks or corrosion that may appear in the 14 Lap Joint, as well as any tears and scratches that may occur in the aircraft structure.

ENAER offers cost and time advantages, having the capacity to directly manufacture the constituent parts of Kit 65C38192-1 according to the specifications of the Service Bulletin. Additionally, and if required, ENAER can carry out repairs in other areas of the fuselage that are not covered in the aforementioned bulletins. To this end, when a fault not considered in the documentation is detected, the engineering team develops a work program to solve the problem, which is sent as an engineering consultation to Boeing, which, when validated, is applied as a specific solution for each case.
In composite materials, we have the experience to repair:
- Control Surfaces such as: Ailerons, Elevators, Spoilers, Rudder, Flaps, Doors, Panels, Radomes.
- Engine Nacelles, such as: Thrust Reversers, Covers, Exhaust Ducts.
